Trax helps CPG companies see what is going on in their stores by using crowdsourced
images to map the store. I was like a kid in a candy store, getting to play with all of this data.
My main role was to find new and interesting insights, share these with customers and then refine the
process for generating these insights.

Co-Founder
For years I had been making a homeade cocktail and sharing it with friends.
Finally I got tired of always paying for the booze and asked my friends to all chip in. Many of them
started buying more than I could make. Emily Gu, a good friend and I, decided we could make a company and
Strip and Go Bare was born. I created our counter pressure filling system and managed operations and finance. Before
we called it quits we had secured 30+ locations to sell Strip.

I graduated college in 2007 and joined the newly formed Corporate Finance and Strategy team.
Over the next 5 years I learned how to create models, craft impactful presentations and help teams make decisions. I
got to work on everything from build or buy analysis, new product go to market plans, and large M&A transactions to staff

BS Economics, BS Finance
As a young man I knew I really liked math and people but had no idea
what to do with that. I decided I would head to NYC to learn more. I realized Economics and
Finance both studied how to use math and logic to make decisions, and I was hooked.
I was lucky enough to meet the love of my life, Jaimee, at NYU as well.

Almost all companies I have worked with have needed to rank different segments or opportunities.
I have created a ranking model that is flexible and easy for line managers to use to understand their business.
Example Google Sheets Framework
I have helped many teams use finance models to make decsisions.
Normally this is a tedious, error-prone process. I have built a scalable model that I often recycle
for these types of analyses. I constructed this model to be able to ingest very different
inputs for many scenarios, yet report out a standard, easy-to-understand P&L.
Example Google Sheets Framework
I completed a supply and demand analysis for Hipcamp that was looking to understand local markets.
Using the National Parks Service bookings and par data I was able to understand seasonality for camping and supply and demand.
Example Jupyter Notebook via Github
To understand potential growth options I have helped several companies understand the size their of market(s) and
create a high level go-to-market strategy. Through these projects I have begun to develop a standard framework
and playbook.
